About Us

Alumno Developments Ltd is a property company which specialises in developing student housing.

We were established in 2006 and work in partnership with universities, colleges and other key stakeholders to provide homes across major student towns and cities. This includes projects in Glasgow, St. Andrews, Birmingham, Norwich, Southwark (South London), Stratford (East London), Durham and Aberdeen.

The majority of universities have a pressing need for new accommodation and do not have the resources to provide it. We help by delivering much needed bed spaces which means students have great spaces to live and work in harmony with local communities. This also assists in reducing pressure on existing family housing and helps educational institutions grow.

Our vision is to create communities that appeal to a diverse range of students, while providing both sustainable and affordable accommodation.

Camberwell Campus, Peckham Road

Alumno in partnership with the University of the Arts London converted existing Grade II listed buildings adjacent to Camberwell College of Arts into student accommodation. The accommodation was completed in 2012 and now provides 155 bed spaces in a mixture of ensuite, non-ensuite, twin and studio rooms. The scheme is managed by the University.

235-241 Dumbarton Road

Dumbarton Road

Alumno completed the redevelopment of a brownfield site on Dumbarton Road, Glasgow in Sep 2014. The scheme provides 174 student bedrooms, with a ground floor retail unit, landscaped courtyard and amenity deck for students. The site is within a short walking distance of the University of Glasgow and has been very popular amongst the students.
