‘The Quad’ by Alumno Developments will provide modern new-build student accommodation within the city centre. Having opened the All Saints Green student accommodation for the Norwich University of Arts adjacent to the bus station in 2016, we would like to provide more good quality student residencies for the growing and diverse student body in this vibrant city.

In summary:

  • Delivering regeneration – the former Mecca Bingo and Gaumont club site has been vacant for some time. Student housing and city-centre facilities will attract extra visitors and life to this part of All Saints Green, which will make the area more vibrant through the day and evenings.
  • Providing an attractive alternative to student accommodation in local homes – there is strong demand for modern, purpose-built student accommodation in the city centre. By providing all the services and facilities students need in a single managed building, we can provide an alternative to students taking up space in Norwich`s housing stock, which would be better occupied by local residents.
  • Building on the success of our All Saints Green projectwe were really pleased by the reception of our project at All Saints Green and have been working closely with the Norwich University of the Arts to deliver it. We hope to build on our relationships with the community and further contribute to Norwich’s growth and prosperity.
